Reflections on and from the life of Pambo here to leave an indelible impression on all whose hearts and minds will never give up the quest to find "the smile no one can see within the dark."

Spinning the bottle of Time
SPINNING THE BOTTLE OF TIME
In the spring of ’69 –
We all hung out for one last time
records spun of storybook
lives
in rocking tunes on 45’s.
“Time of the season”, had come “Undone"
That Friday night we played each “One”.
We passed our yearbooks, pens and love,
engraved each cherished name above
So Grade-school friends-
too soon dispersed
Would not forget who loved them first.
I whirled and twirled midst “Purple haze”
arranged each memory as
scrap book days.
It was “Helter Skelter” in party light.
“guess I had too much to dream last night”.
We learned that reality that “Love is Blue”
While holding hopes
of “Close to you.”
“Grazin’ in the grass”, staring at the stars
And An occasional rumble from muscle cars.
The reverb refrain of “Crimson and Clover,
echoed aloud “over and over”.
I hoped for a moment to find us alone
When I spinned the bottle “Turn, turn, turn.”
Off went the lights, then tables and chairs
Our Childhood games outweighed all cares.
“Hello, Goodbye”,
“Sealed with a Kiss”
Felt “ Tears go by”,“That’s how it is”
My “Time in a bottle”
landed on you
It was My “Truth or Dare” so I picked true.
A bashful giggle, a blushing smile ….
The first “Last kiss”…
for a little while.
On to separate, grow up
alone…
one by “One” forever gone,
“The Summer Song”.. overwhelmed
our hearts
As in the fall all made new starts
‘Puppy love” around the table, “Long as I can see the light”
“I think we’re alone now” made memories cling
but my hopes fell with
a door bell ring.
I held old Lyrics penciled
in with my tears
“Turn around look at me”
After all of these years.
